Daniel Karabin – Head Instructor

 

Muay Thai is an 8 limb striking system of combos using

punches, kicks, elbows and knees, originating from Thailand.

My workout routine incorporates all of these weapons into a

fun and challenging full body workout, including push ups,

legwork and abs, getting you into your ultimate physical and

mental shape.

My experience of over 25 years includes boxing, karate, tae kwon do, muay thai, and kickboxing with thousands of adults and children from beginners to expert who I have had the pleasure to learn and teach with. I have trained with many professionals and varied styles, including Phuket Top Team, Thailand; Golden Glory Breda, Netherlands; Roufusport, Milwaukee, and Team Sityodtong, Somerville. I currently maintain a record of 9-2, 1 NC in Amateur Muay Thai.

Trainers

 

For years I have traveled and studied my craft under a wide variety of trainers, including Cor Hemmers, Joe Frascatore, Kru Phet, Nathan "Carnage" Corbett, Kru Nazee, Kru Phoek, Kru Mark Dellagrote, Kru Duke Roufus, Artem Levin, Lerdsila, Duangdawnoi, Saenchai and many others. In addition to my coaches, I have trained alongside of some of the best Muay Thai fighters and kickboxers in the world. Learning from a wide variety of coaches has helped me to put together a comprehensive training program dedicated to helping you improve not only your technique, but your conditioning and overall fitness level as well.

Training

 

I've worked with thousands of people of all ages over the years, ages 8 to 80. I've trained and trained alongside everyone from stay-at-home mothers to professional fighters who have competed for the biggest MMA and kickboxing organizations in the world including Glory, Lion Fight, Bellator and the UFC



Whatever your age or fitness level, we will work as a team to get you into the best possible shape. Whether your goal is to fight professionally or to lose those last five pounds, we will work together to help you achieve your goals.

Strength and Conditioning

 

In addtion to Muay Thai I am also available for personal training and strength and conditioning programs on a one on one basis. I have worked with many fighters over the years and gotten them into peak cardiovascular shape. The worst thing for a fighter is to not be able to breathe come fight time.
